4-05-2007 KCA NEPTUNE DELIVERED KCA has taken delivery of the NEPTUNE, formally the ENSCO 64. The rig was damaged in Hurricane Ivan and has undergone a complete refurbishment in Beacon's Main Yard located in Orange, Texas. The Interim Class Certificate, Load Line Certificate, and Flag Registry have all been issued for the NEPTUNE. The project also included a completely new set of legs built in the Jasper, Texas facility and new spud cans fabricated in Orange. Great job NEPTUNE team! 8-28-2006 SONGA JUPITER SAILS AWAY Beacon's SONGA JUPITER team reported Friday that the Interim Class Certificate, Load Line Certificate, and Flag Registry have all been issued for Songa Jupiter. The JUPITER left Sabine Pass, Texas around 03:30 Saturday morning. Congratulations Jupiter team, great job! 8-26-2006 NEW FACILITIES HOST SPUD CAN ASSEMBLIES Beacon's newest yard development in Orange,
Texas was chosen to host the fabrication and assemble of (3) 200 ton spud cans
that we are currently building for the KCA NEPTUNE, the former ENSCO 64 damaged in hurricane Ivan of 2004. The
facility is currently in Phase 1 of a multi-staged development that will
ultimately become our main fabrication yard. [Download
additional details 6-23-2006 PANEL LINE ON THE WAY Beacon Maritime announces the purchase of panel line equipment for automated bulkhead and deck fabrication. The panel line system is currently located in Stord, Norway and was previously owned by our partner company, Leirvik Module Technology. The addition of the panel line equipment into Beacon's Orange, Texas facility will greatly enhance Beacon's ability to compete on large steel fabricated vessels, modules, etc. Beacon's personnel reported that they have completed the disassembly in Norway and the equipment will be in route shortly. 6-14-2006 CORNER POST ARRIVE IN ORANGE YARD The leg corner post are now arriving from the Jasper, Texas facility for truss leg assembly in our new yard in Orange. The quality of the corner post that were fabricated in Jasper with the new automated sub-arc welding equipment is outstanding. Leg corner post sections are arriving almost daily and a testament to the production capacity of the new Jasper facilities. Great job Jasper. 6-1-2006 PROGRESSO FACILITIES NEGOTIATIONS FINALIZED Beacon Maritime announces negotiations have concluded and resulted in the signing of a long term lease for the property in Progresso, Mexico. This was the last step in becoming a permanent waterfront marine construction and repair operation in Mexico. The lease secures the property and makes further investments and development of the land possible. Current plans for the property include MODU repairs / retro-fits and other marine fabrication opportunities. 4-17-2006 LEIRVIK MODULE AWARDED LIVING QUARTERS EXTENSION Leirvik Module Techonolgy has been awarded the living Quarters Extension Contract from Statoil on Snorre A. One aluminum module all together 475 MT, 1000m2 and a contract value of approx USD 20 mill. Delivery time is March 2007. 4-11-2006 HIRING GOALS ACHIEVED Post hurricane RITA Beacon Maritime is now back to full production status. Employment goals have been reached to satisfy current contracts. Beacon's current roster includes over 800 employees. 4-09-2006 BEACON BREAKS GROUND Beacon Maritime announces the beginning of a
planned expansion to the Orange, Texas fabrication facilities. The project
includes development of over 50 acres of adjacent properties to fulfill existing
fabrication and construction contracts. The new development will be referred to
as the "West Yard". Phase I will include the initial development of a 600' x
600' stabilized waterfront access fabrication pad. Phase II will include a 2500
ton rail / load out system designed for load outs of heavy marine modules and

BEACON AWARDED SONGA NEPTUNE PROJECT Beacon Maritime announces the contract award to refurbish the SONGA "NEPTUNE". The rig is now located at the Beacon North Yard in Orange, Texas. The project includes the fabrication of (3)new 435ft truss leg assemblies, installation of new jacking gears, refurbishment of the existing cantilever beams (including extension additions) and the drill floor. The living quarters will also be refurbished. The vessel will be ABS/MODU classed.
